Helene Gold holds both a BA and MLIS degree from the State University of New York at Albany as well as an MEd (Instructional Technology) from the University of South Florida. She has professional expertise in Information Literacy strategic development and planning, instruction, and assessment, creating online instructional objects, tutorials, and videos, as well as student engagement, outreach, and event planning/management. Helene serves on a variety of state and national committees and has published in the areas of Information Literacy curriculum development and assessment, pedagogy, web design and development, and database usability. When she is not eagerly welcoming students into the academic conversation and taking great delight in their educational journey, she enjoys birding, baking, and traveling.
