Our center provides acute and preventative care services for the treatment of common medical problems to ensure that our students remain healthy and active. A student should expect to receive an initial diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care for a variety of illnesses. When necessary and appropriate, referral to community providers will be offered.
At times, a student’s needs fall outside the scope of services provided by the center (i.e. dermatology, orthopedic needs) and need to be addressed by a specialist. In such cases, the practitioner and Center staff will help refer the client to an appropriate community referral for further treatment.
Students are expected to seek medical interventions in the community outside of our regular business hours. Please note that these offices are not associated with our Center and normal medical fees are associated with these offices:

Our practitioner provides routine gynecological health care and education/treatment/referrals regarding contraception, sexually transmitted infections, menstruation, and pregnancy testing.
In order to obtain a prescription for oral contraception, a client must complete a gynecological exam or provide proof of a completed pap smear within the past year.
There is a fee associated with the gynecological exams. Please call and speak with a Center staff member to make an appointment and inquire about any associated fees.
Screenings for Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) are available through the Center. We will also provide you with community referrals for STI testing clinics in the community. Information and schedules regarding HIV testing can be acquired by calling the Center.
