New College Food Pantry

This critical resource provides emergency and supplemental food items of high nutritional value that contribute to the community’s need for access to hunger relief services.

In January 2018, the New College Food Pantry (NCFP) was opened on the campus of New College of Florida.  In partnership with the Peace Education and Action Center and the Food Bank of Manatee, the mission of the NCFP is to support student success by addressing the existence of short-term food accessibility hardship.  Through collaboration across various departments at New College of Florida, student-led research and data collection, and support from campus and local community members, this critical resource provides emergency and supplemental food items of high nutritional value that contribute to the community’s need for access to hunger relief services.

The New College Food Pantry is open and ready to help those in need in our campus community! On- and off-campus students will have access to this resource 24 hours of the day, 7 days a week when campus is open.
