AOC: Political Science
My favorite New College Memory is: My first birthday on campus, my roommates threw me the sweetest birthday party. We watched Kung Fury and Ouran High School Host Club, which were possibly the lamest things we could have chosen. That night was the night my friends went from being cool acquaintances to best friends.
My hidden talent is: Making people think I’m professional and put together.
My hobbies are: Hanging out with my girlfriend and my friends, learning about reproductive justice, and hanging out on the B Dorm porch.
My dream job is: Whatever pays me enough (but realistically, something in social justice)
If I woke up as an animal I would be: A raccoon! They’re my favorite animals, they have wonderful little hands, and they eat trash just like me.

My favorite New College Memory is: For my 19th birthday, my friend (and now co-RA!) worked with my partner to throw me a Lady Gaga-themed surprise party at the outdoor classroom by the bay. The fact that they went out of their way to make my birthday so special meant so much to me, and it showed how loving and creative the people at New College can be.
My hidden talent is: I wouldn’t call it a talent, but I quote too many obscure references.
My hobbies are: Arts and crafts, taking Buzzfeed Quizzes, making bigots angry.
My dream job is: Something that would allow me to help young people recognize their power and potential.
If I woke up as an animal I would be a: I would want to be one of those fat birds that lives in the Magic Kingdom park. They get to live at Disney World for free, and they’re also always snacking on the overpriced food that tourists don’t finish. That’s the dream.

My favorite New College Memory is: I really enjoy spending time with my fellow RAs. Some of my favorite New College memories come from goofy nights in the resource room or from planning and hosting successful events.
My hidden talent is: I’m really good at whistling!
My hobbies are: I like watching Netflix, taking super long naps and baking.
My dream job is: The career I have doesn’t matter, I just want to be in a position to help people and make a difference.
If I woke up as an animal I would be a: I would want to be big friendly dog, like a golden doodle. I would run around outside and go on long walks at the beach or through the woods. I would play with other dogs at the dog park and eat treats. At the end of the day I would come home to a loving family and relax on a big cozy dog bed.

If I woke up as an animal I would be a: I think I would be a fruit bat because my sleep schedule leans toward slightly nocturnal and it would be really cool to fly around at night.

My favorite New College Memory is: Singing with the New College Chorus in the Music Room of College Hall.
My hidden talent is: I can fall asleep anywhere.
My hobbies are: Dance Collective, choir, sewing, cooking, pretty normal stuff.
My dream job is: Family and Divorce Mediator
If I woke up as an animal I would be a: Probably a cat. They’re agile, independent, occasionally cuddly, and their hobbies include sunbathing, hunting, and napping.

My favorite New College Memory is: My favorite New College memory is having a big feast with staff and friends who were still on campus for Thanksgiving. We had so much food and desserts, watched holiday movies, and played games. It made me feel at home.
My hidden talent is: I am a great writer!
My hobbies are: Pretending to have hobbie s– just kidding. I like to run, read, garden, and most recently, I have been learning new ways to meditate.
My dream job is: Preschool teacher, with a livable wage!
If I woke up as an animal I would be: Hollywood (Bianca’s dog). She spends her day bundled up in blankets on the couch and is treated like the queen she is.

My favorite New College Memory is: One time my friends and I went to the Ringling art museum and then had a picnic in the Ringling rose garden and spent the afternoon smelling the roses, playing on the playground, and having a grand time.
My hidden talent is: I’m pretty stellar at homemade gifts.
My dream job is: History teacher
If I woke up as an animal I would be a: I would want to be a Pika. They are these super cute little mouse-like rabbits and they bring me a lot of joy.

My favorite New College Memory is: My favorite New College memory is my first service project. Even though the staff and I laughed about how the event was “poorly orchestrated,” I learned the importance of community. I also learned that plastic water bottles take 450 years to degrade. Who knew right?
My hidden talent is: Well, it wouldn’t be hidden if I told you . . .
My hobbies are: Who’s got time for hobbies? I suppose biking down to the bay is always a win so long as I don’t crash into anything (or anyone) on the overpass.
My dream job is: Being a Resident Advisor of course!!!! 😀
If I woke up as an animal I would be a: I would choose to be my cat, Tigger. I named her after the infamous character from Winnie the Pooh. I would like to have a look into that brain of hers. What is the secret to having so much energy?

My favorite New College Memory is: It’s so hard to pick just one!! A lot of my favorite memories have to do with the waterfront over at Caples. Nothing is more beautiful than kayaking in the bay on a bright sunny Saturday morning or seeing the Caples Mansion under the full moon! Watching the sunset there while sitting on the rocks with the water right at your feet is truly amazing!
My hidden talent is: I know a lot of random things about bugs! And I’m a cleaning machine!
My hobbies are: Making art, taking pictures of bugs, collecting bones and admiring nature!
My dream job is: To be a ranger for the National Parks Service! Anything to protect our environment.
If I woke up as an animal I would be a: I’d want to be a raccoon!!! They’re strong, super smart, and ridiculously good climbers! People really underestimate them unfairly, but they’re really unique animals with an amazing (even if unconventional) skill set (and the cutest little hands)!!!

My dream job is: Not 100% sure yet; a pediatric neurologist or an occupational therapist for children with disabilities, maybe a speech therapist.
If I woke up as an animal I would be: An elephant because they have great memories and they’re beautiful playful animals.

My favorite New College Memory is: Every memory I have of a person — who I’ve already known to be sincere, generous, or admirable — stunning me still. Here at New College, I have been stunned by others’ capacity to do good, be good, and inspire good.
My hidden talent is: If you count me finding myself in the weirdest situations — then, yeah, that.
My hobbies are: Hanging out with my dog. Weightlifting, running, reading, writing, listening to music, cooking, driving, walking, rock-climbing, exploring.
My dream job is: To write.
If I woke up as an animal I would be: The Florida Man.

My hobbies are: I like to play jazz, video games, watch anime, and play Magic: The Gathering.
My dream job is: To be a doctor (Orthopedic Surgeon, Hematologist or Endocrinologist)
If I woke up as an animal I would be a: Definitely would be an octopus because they do everything to the extreme. They are awesome because they can taste things they touch and fit through anything that their beak can fit through but most of all… camouflage.

My favorite New College Memory is: My favorite New College memory is when I first saw the sunset at the bay during Orientation. I got this sense of belonging, and that sort of marked the start of a new chapter.
My hidden talent is: I can fall asleep just about ANYWHERE haha
My hobbies are: I enjoy doing yoga, dancing for dance collective, diving, and bucket listing! Both crossing off of my bucket list and adding to my bucket list
My dream job is: My dream job would be working in marine habitat rehabilitation. I want to recover, repair, and protect the beauty that is our underwater ecosystems.
If I woke up as an animal I would be a: I would 100% wake up as a sea turtle. They are one of my favorite animals! I would be able to explore the ocean and interact with other sea animals in the most genuine way. Crush is honestly my man, dude..

My favorite New College Memory is: Taking pictures of every lizard I see (they’re so cute!).
My hidden talent is: I make everything more difficult than it needs to be. (Alternative talent: Saying ridiculous things that sound like they could be true).
My hobbies are: Planning and bullet journaling, spending time with my friends, arts and crafts, organizing things.
My dream job is: One where I’m always learning something new and traveling.
If I woke up as an animal I would be a: Probably a cat, so I can do whatever I want without judgment.

My favorite New College Memory is: I went to the cardboard regatta late during orientation week my first year, and there was only 10 minutes before the event started. I covered a normal box with tape and wielded a kayak paddle. When the race started I immediately sank and then proceeded to swim the route. Whenever I mention this people still go omg that was you?!
My hidden talent is: I can make parody songs off the top of my head. Just ask me about the lab version of we are who we are.
My hobbies are: Scuba diving, science-related doodles, pool, hiking, kayaking, geocaching, honestly other things I can’t think of at the moment.
My dream job is: A Veterinarian for Exotic Animals
If I woke up as an animal I would be a: A rough shark because when people read this they’re probably like that sounds like a thug version of a shark but really they’re these cute triangular shaped water puppies with pointy scales. They also live in the deep away from people, and same, sometimes you just need me time.

My favorite New College Memory is: Making tons of smoothies down at Caples for students who were hanging out and paddleboarding
My hidden talent is: I can burp the alphabet…does that count as a talent?
My hobbies are: Scuba diving, running, hiking, riding my bike, swimming
My dream job is: I want to be a veterinarian!
If I woke up as an animal I would be a: A sea turtle because they migrate really far and I want to see all of the ocean 🙂

My favorite New College Memory is: Sitting out on my balcony with a friend when it was nice and cool out.
My hidden talent is: Nursing small creatures back to health 🙂 also I can make a shadow puppet iguana with my hands.
My hobbies are: Drawing, listening to music and snuggling.
My dream job is: Working with penguins at a zoo, aquarium or research center! (And having someone else do all my paperwork).
If I woke up as an animal I would be a: I would be a hummingbird because they can fly crazy fast (up to 60mph!!). They are also super colorful and consume up to half their body weight in sugar daily.
