Live Where You Learn

New College is a residential college where almost all students are required to live in the residence halls and participate in a meal plan. By living on campus, you can be fully engaged in student life while enjoying a strong sense of camaraderie and community.

As you get ready to move onto campus, we just wanted to take a moment to stress how importance and value of the residential experience. There is a great deal of research that reveals that students who live on campus are academically more successful and socially more integrated and have a higher retention rate than nonresidential students. While living on campus you have access to many opportunities and support services.

There is always someone from Housing available whether it be the middle of the afternoon or the middle of the night. We hope it gives you peace of mind to know we consider living on campus an important and vital part of an academic and social community and that we are committed to your success.
