To allow for possible delays in mail and processing, please do your best to complete your admission application file by these dates:
Fall 2018 Class (Freshman and Transfer Admission)
All application materials due for admission and scholarship eligibility: April 1, 2018
Deadline to accept admission offer: May 1, 2018
All required application materials (including any required transcript evaluations and translations, official transcripts, exam scores, and the recommendation) must be received by the Office of Admissions and Financial Aid on or before the deadline.
Mail postmarked by the appropriate date will meet the deadline so long as the mail is received by 5 p.m. the following business day.
Scholarship funding amounts are tied to residency for tuition purposes. (For example, a student who is a Florida resident for tuition purposes will not be eligible for assignment of the Presidential Scholarship for out-of-state students.) Scholarship Value: over $20,000 per year (over $80,000 over four years)
The value of this renewable “LAC” scholarship package is $1,000 plus the difference between in-state and out-of-state tuition. The Dean of Enrollment Services will assign this scholarship to out-of-state U.S. citizens and U.S. Permanent Resident Aliens who reside in Puerto Rico or the U.S. Virgin Islands, and international students who are residents of Latin America and the Caribbean entering on an eligible visa to study at New College.
The LAC Scholarship Program replaces all other institutional scholarships.
