The Tuition Exchange Award

If you are a dependent of an eligible employee at one of the 600-plus member institutions in The Tuition Exchange, contact your home institution’s liaison officer to ask whether you are eligible for this award. If you are selected for this award, New College will supplement your gift aid from most other sources (private, state, and federal), so that your total gift aid — including the New College supplement — will be $5,500 for a Florida student, or $17,000 for an out-of-state student. Financial need may be considered in selection for this award, so candidates are encouraged to file the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) for each academic year. Please note that if you are eligible for a Pell Grant, then these funds will be added to your Tuition Exchange award (not deducted).

The priority application deadline for the Tuition Exchange Award is Feb. 15, 2017.  Please complete all of the following steps by this deadline:

  1. Submit all required admissions materials and fees to New College of Florida (for more information please visit www.ncf.edu/admissions/how-to-apply/);
  2. Apply for federal aid using the Free Application for Federal Student Aid at www.fafsa.gov;
  3. Confirm with your exporting institution that you are eligible for the Tuition Exchange Award, and make sure they have released your Tuition Exchange application information to New College of Florida.
    Initial Tuition Exchange Award offers will be announced by April 15, 2017.This scholarship supersedes all other scholarship funding from New College of Florida.
