One of New College of Florida's signature events, the Pique Nique sue la Baie, is a spring celebration of fashion and fun, all benefiting New College and Jane Bancroft Cook Library.
Thank you to all of our supporters of New College’s 33rd annual Pique Nique Sur la Baie held March 11 at the New College waterfront. With nearly 400 attendees, the event was a huge success.
Guests enjoyed a sumptuous meal, New College student dancers, the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office Mounted Police Unit, amazing entertainment that included aerialists, horse and rider performances and a spectacular fashion show produced by The Met.
Our special thanks to The Community Foundation of Sarasota County for providing a $5000 challenge match supporting our named book fund via our live auction. Over $40,000 was raised in the live and silent auctions this year alone! Thanks to honorary chair and New College trustee Audrey Coleman, the Pique Nique committee, all of our fabulous sponsors and our fashion partner, The Met, for all of their efforts in making this year’s Pique Nique a success – all to benefit New College and the Jane Bancroft Cook library.
