A campus visit is the best way to get to know New College.

While you are here, you can stop by our student-run Four Winds Café, tour our world-class marine research center, stroll through our historic buildings and meet fellow students and professors.

Campus visits are generally offered Monday -- Friday except for some holidays and special event days. Most tours are led by students. All freshman admissions visitors should go to our Admissions Welcome Center on the first floor of College Hall (pink mansion located on the bayfront).

While visiting, you can also speak personally to your Admissions and Financial Aid counselors.

Summer Visit Schedule
Monday, June 1 to Wednesday, August 12

Morning and afternoon visits will be available on Mondays and Fridays in June and on most weekdays in July and August. Please use our online visit calendar to view all visit dates and times.

Visits typically include an information session and a campus tour. They last between 2 and 2 1/2 hours.

Transfer & International Students
You should apply as a transfer if you have, or will have, enrolled in any college course work after high school graduation. If you’re currently a dual enrollment student, apply as a freshman candidate (unless you plan to enroll in college course work between high school graduation and the semester that you'd like to enroll at New College).

To arrange your visit, please contact Deirdre Carmicheal, our Campus Visit Coordinator, today at (941) 487-5000 or admissions@ncf.edu.

Specialized Tours
Please check back in September to find out when specialized tours of our art and science facilities will be offered during the fall semester.

Class Visits
Class visits will be available in the fall and spring semesters for high school students who would like to get a more in-depth look at New College of Florida. They are typically available in October, November, March and April. Please check back in late September to view our class visit schedule for the fall 2015 semester.

Group Visits
We invite your school group to set up a campus visit! We can typically accommodate groups of up to 25 high school and college students between September and January.

Please contact us at admissions@ncf.edu or 941-487-5000 to arrange a counselor-led admissions talk, and a student-led walking tour.

Be sure to give us at least two weeks’ notice -- our student tour guides get booked quickly during peak visit times!
