A campus visit is the best way to get to know New College.

While you are here, you can stop by our student-run Four Winds Café, tour our world-class marine research center, stroll through our historic buildings and meet fellow students and professors.

Campus visits are generally offered Monday -- Friday except for some holidays and special event days. Most tours are led by students. All freshman admissions visitors should go to our Admissions Welcome Center on the first floor of College Hall (pink mansion located on the bayfront).

While visiting, you can also speak personally to your Admissions and Financial Aid counselors.

Fall Visit Schedule
Monday, Sept. 8 to Tuesday, Dec. 2
Morning and afternoon visits will be available on most weekdays, except for some holidays.

Visits typically include an information session and a campus tour. They last between 2 and 2 1/2 hours.

Transfer & International Students
You should apply as a transfer if you have, or will have, enrolled in any college course work after high school graduation. If you’re currently a dual enrollment student, apply as a freshman candidate (unless you plan to enroll in college course work between high school graduation and the semester that you'd like to enroll at New College).

Saturday Visits
We have one Saturday visit remaining during the 2014-2015 year, at 10 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 28  in Sudakoff Conference Center. It will include an information session, student panel, and campus tour, and will last about 3 hours.

Specialized Tours
Science Tours are full campus tours that will also bring you through our Natural Sciences facilities and give more information about the programs and opportunities in our Natural Sciences department.  Science tours are available upon request with the following visits:

Mondays at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Thursdays at 2 p.m.
Fridays at 1 p.m. and 2 p.m.

Art Tours are full campus tours that will also bring you through our Fine Arts facilities and give you more information about the programs and opportunities in our Art department.  Art Tours are available upon request with the following visits:

Fridays at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Class Visits
Class visits for the fall semester have ended. Please check back here in mid-February for our spring class visit options!

Group Visits
We invite your school group to set up a campus visit! We can typically accommodate groups of up to 25 high school and college students between September and January.

Please contact us at admissions@ncf.edu or 941-487-5000 to arrange a counselor-led admissions talk, and a student-led walking tour.

Be sure to give us at least two weeks’ notice -- our student tour guides get booked quickly during peak visit times!
