| Sonia N. Labrador-Rodríguez Associate Professor of Spanish Language & Literature Professor Labrador-Rodríguez’s interests in teaching and research include Afro-Spanish American literature and history of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, literature written by Cuban slaves, contemporary Caribbean literature and culture, and race and nation in Spanish America.
