The NCAA chapter program is designed to strengthen relationships among alumnae/i and the college. Chapter events provide opportunities for alums to participate in social, recreational, and educational programs that encourage professional and social networking.
We are always looking for alums who are interested in organize an event in their area! Staff and NCAA board members provide information about NCAA and the benefits, services, and advice that will help make the chapter event a success.

November 17, 2013--Sarasota, FL. The bi-annual New College vs. Ringling flag football game will be held on November 17th at 2:00 p.m.at the New College soccer field. The game will include a presidential wager, a half time show, and plenty of fun activities for kids of all ages. All proceeds will go to All Faith's Food Bank. A $10 donation is required at the door. November 1, 2013--Chicago, IL. The NCAA is partnering with New College Admissions to increase out of state enrollment. Please join us for a combined New College alumnae/i and prospective student gathering at The Crown on the 25th floor of the Tribune Tower from 6:30-8:30 p.m. President Donal O'Shea, Vice President for Advancement & Executive Director of the Foundation Shannon Duvall, and Admissions Coordinator Catherine Sinclair will be present. October 18, 2013--Richard Stockton College, Galloway, NJ. Starting at 6:15 p.m. New College President Donal O'Shea will present "The Innovative Liberal Arts: Higher Education’s Hedge Fund" at the Consortium for Innovative Environments in Learning (CIEL) Conference. A New College alum meet and greet with President O'Shea will immediately follow his presentation. New College Provost Steve Miles, and alums Julie Morris '70, Vice President of Academic Affairs , and Jono Miller '70, Assistant to the Vice President of Finance and Administration will also be in attendance.
October 12, 2013--High Cove, NC. Hosted by Olga Ronay '77, John Moore and fellow members of the High Cove community. The 4th annual New College potluck and gathering at High Cove happens Saturday afternoon, October 12, starting at 1p throughout the afternoon. Alums are invited to stay the whole weekend for great food, lively conversation, walks in the woods, and skill shares. Jessica Rogers, Vice President of Alumnae/i Affairs will also be in attendance to share alumnae/i association updates and new ways to get involved. High Cove is a 110-acre intentional community in the mountains of western North Carolina, focusing on arts, environmental stewardship, and life-long learning. Founders include NCF alums and professors. High Cove is an hour from Asheville, 4 hours from Atlanta, and close to Burnsville, Spruce Pine, Penland School of Crafts, the Appalachian Trail, and Blue Ridge Parkway.
