Scholarships for Transfer Students

Scholarship funding is guaranteed for eligible admitted students who are U.S. Citizens, US Permanent Resident Aliens, international students seeking the F-1 student visa, and other eligible non-citizens who are admitted for Fall 2013. There is no separate application form for you to file.

Please complete your admission application file by May 10, 2013 for priority scholarship consideration.

Great News! For this year only, New College of Florida is offering a limited number of $15,000 per year scholarships ($60,000 over four years) to highly qualified out of state students. At least 63 of these scholarships will be awarded. To be eligible for this one-time only offer, students must complete their application to New College no later than May 10, 2013.

Transfer Scholar Award
Scholarship Value:
College GPA: 3.70
Florida Residents: $1,000 (per year)
Non-Florida residents: $2,500 (per year)

Phi Theta Kappa Scholar Award
Scholarship Value:
$1,000 per year, renewable for the second year.

Requirements:
Select community college students, who are members of Phi Theta Kappa and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 (or higher), will be awarded this scholarship. Completion of the AA degree is required.

Florida Student Artist Music Award
Scholarship Value:
$1,000 per year, renewable for the second year.

Requirement:
Awarded to a student artist winner of the Florida Community College Activities Association (FCCAA) state music symposium.

All-Florida Academic Team Scholarship
Scholarship Value:
$2,000 per year, renewable for the second year.

Requirement:
Awarded to members of the USA Today Community College All-Florida Academic Team.
