Bryson Voirin 's  Story

When I came to New College, I was really taken aback at how open the faculty is to new ideas or to working with you to incorporate you into their research. At larger institutions, that just doesn't happen with undergraduates. I was always told that undergraduates are like the bottom of the food chain at universities, but at New College, I've been offered so many one-on-one relationships with professors. Even professors outside of New College have heard of us, and they offered to work with me. I worked with a professor from Princeton on a couple of papers. That doesn't happen at most other places.

A college decision is a pretty big decision to make. I would definitely recommend anybody who is even passively interested in New College to just come visit. I would definitely choose New College, again, I have no regrets. I've had the most wonderful opportunities. I could never have had the type of experiences I had without New College, for sure.

Fulbright scholar Bryson Voirin combined his love of climbing trees with his senior thesis.
