Sarah Hernandez

Associate Professor of Sociology

M.A., Ph.D., University of Michigan
B.A. Earlham College

Dr. Hernandez was born and raised in Mexico. Her father was from Mexico, her mother from the United States. Therefore, her research and teaching involves both countries and a broader international outlook. Her academic interests involve the intersection of economic development, work organization, and social movements. She has, therefore, studied the decision-making process in cooperatives as well as transnational labor collaboration.
