Requests for Information
All requests for information from the New College of
Florida Office of the Registrar must be signed and in writing.* Pay particular
attention to the following:
- Be specific about what you are requesting. Remember, what you request is
what you are likely to receive. If in doubt, contact the Registrar's Office
to discuss your request.
- Include why you are requesting the information. In
addition to ensuring compliance with the various privacy laws, it provides
the Registrar's Office an opportunity to ensure what you are requesting is
what you actually need.
- Mention any deadlines you may have for
this information. The Registrar's Office makes every effort to
respond to each request it receives in a reasonable and timely manner.
- Include your name, title, physical address, and
your phone number. Make certain the Registrar's Office can contact you if
there are any questions.
Requests not
containing all of the above information will be returned unprocessed.
Properly filed requests will be approved or denied after being evaluated by
the New College Registrar.
* New College faculty and staff
may make the request via email to
records@ncf.edu if the request originates from their official
individual New College email account.
