TRAVEL INFORMATION-2006 PascGalois Retreat

We expect our participants to arrive on Sunday June 4th and depart on Saturday June 10th, 2006.

You can fly into Sarasota/Bradenton International Airport (airport code SRQ). New College students and I (Eirini Poimenidou) will be meeting arriving participants at the Sarasota airport on Sunday June 4th throughout the day.  All NSF funded participants will receive reimbursement for their airfare up to a maximum of $400 per person. Once you have confirmed your flight please send me an e-mail with the following information:

Other nearby airports are Tampa International Airport (TPA) or St. Petersburg/Clearwater Airport (PIE).  If you do decide to fly into either of these two airports you will probably need to rent a car to Sarasota as we will not be meeting people there. Another way to get to Sarasota Airport from Tampa Airport is the Sarasota/Tampa Express Shuttle service that runs regularly between the two airports.  For reservations call 941-727-1344 or go to their web site at www.stexps.com
