New Music New College
September through April

This innovative series is a treasure for contemporary arts enthusiasts and features outstanding musicians from around the country. In 2013–2014, we celebrate the 15th season of New Music New College. The concert series includes a number of free artist conversations that allow audience members to get to know the musicians and what's behind their music. New Topics New College
October through March

New Topics is a collaboration of the New College Foundation and New College of Florida. This dynamic community series features guest speakers discussing some of the most relevant topics of our time. A reception follows each program and provides an opportunity to meet the speakers, students and faculty. All programs are at 5:30 pm at the Mildred Sainer Pavilion.

Natural Sciences Seminars

August to May

The Division of Natural Sciences hosts a series of lectures on a variety of topics. The lectures are held at the Heiser Natural Sciences Building's Soo Bong Chae Auditorium. The guest speaker will be Jonathan Klawans of Boston University, author of “Purity, Sacrifice, and the Temple: Symbolism and Supersessionism in the Study of Ancient Judaism House of Israel;” "Josephus and the Theologies of Ancient Judaism;” and “Impurity and Sin in Ancient Judaism.” Sponsored by New College of Florida, The Klingenstein Chair of Judaic Studies, The Jewish Federation of Sarasota-Manatee and The Jay Rudolph Endowment.
