Impressive National Rankings

Here are a few of the top national rankings New College has received recently:

Ranked #2: The Princeton Review and USA Today 
New College is ranked the No. 2 Best Value Public College in America in their 2014 list of “100 Best Value Colleges.” This is the sixth consecutive year that New College has been in the top three. In 2012, New College was featured on the NBC TODAY Show and described on air as "an enormous academic value for students, but a great financial aid value as well.”

Ranked #5: U.S. News & World Report 
New College is ranked No. 5 among all public liberal arts colleges in its annual rankings of the Best National Liberal Arts Colleges for 2015. This was the 10th consecutive year New College has been ranked one of the nation’s top 100 liberal arts colleges overall by U.S. News & World Report, and the 10th year in a row New College has been ranked in the top six among public colleges, which also includes military academies. In a list of schools whose students graduated with the least debt, U.S. News also ranked New College No. 21 among America’s public and private liberal arts colleges, and No. 6 in the nation for the percentage of students who go on to graduate programs within a year of graduation.

Ranked #12: Forbes "Best Value Colleges"
New Colleges is ranked No. 12 in its 2014 list of "Best Value" colleges, institutions that "deliver the goods without picking your pocket." It is New College's highest placement in the Forbes list since 2008. 

Ranked #11: Kiplinger's 100 Best Values in Public Colleges
New College is ranked No. 11 in its “100 Best Values in Public Colleges” for 2014, and was ranked #1 among small public colleges. This marked the 11th consecutive time that New College has placed among the nation’s top 20 public colleges overall on the Kiplinger’s list of schools delivering a stellar education at an affordable price.

Rated: Fiske Guide to Colleges 2015
New College is named a "Best Buy School," one of 44 institutions – 22 public and 22 private—to earn that distinction. New College has consistently been rated a Best Buy school in the Fiske Guide since 2003.

Ranked #6: U.S News and World Report's 2013 supplemental data
New College is ranked No. 6 among all U.S. colleges by U.S. News and World Report's 2013 supplemental data, for the percentage of student who go on to graduate school within a year of graduation.

Ranked #8: Washington Monthly magazine 
New College is ranked No. 8 in its 2013 list of the nation's liberal arts colleges contributing to the public good.

The Princeton Review named New College one of the country’s best colleges for the 12th consecutive year in its 2014 edition of “The Best 378 Colleges.” New College is one of only 15 percent of America’s 2,500 four-year colleges profiled in the book.

Bestcolleges.com rated New College of Florida as one of 27 "Best Colleges for Non-Traditional Students."

Newsweek ranked New College the eighth most free-spirited college in “The Best Colleges for You,” the magazine’s annual rankings guide online and in the Sept. 5, 2011 issue. Newsweek compiled the list of Free Spirited Colleges based on how much students can design their own majors, the use of written evaluations over letter grades and a student’s personal learning experience as measured by the total enrollment and student to faculty ratio.
