B.A. in Anthropology

Bio
I came to Florida 14 years ago for the beaches and laid back lifestyle. Instead I became fascinated with Florida’s rich paleo and archaic Indian past. I pursued my degree in cultural anthropology at New College of Florida with an emphasis in heritage preservation.

I enjoy public archaeology and volunteering my time to community organizations. I am on the Sarasota Historical Commission, Vice President of the Warm Mineral Springs/Little Salt Spring Archaeological Society, Co-founder and Vice President of the Ancient Waters Foundation, and member of the Florida Anthropological Society where I chaired the 2014 annual conference.

I like to travel, read, cook, and watch B- horror movies. I appreciate humor, sharp wit, and a healthy dose of sarcasm.
