3Com IP Phone - Quick Reference Guide
If you have a 3Com IP phone please follow these dialing procedures:
To call someone who has a 3Com phone:
dial their 4 digit extension
To check your voice mail:
Press the Bluish-Purple Mail button on your phone.
Note: If you are using the voice mail feature on the 3Com phone
for the first time, the password to setup your mailbox is 1234.
To check your voice mail from home dial your work number and press the (*) key
To dial a number outside of campus:
dial 8-xxx-xxxx
The 3Com phone also has several advanced features. Please take an opportunity to look over some of the
features the 3Com phones have to offer.
