Student Email Accounts/Access
If you are a new student, NewCLEIS will enable you to signup for your student email address online. You will need your "N" number and PIN. If you have have already signed up for a email account, but have forgotten your password, you may enter a helpdesk request using RT or call the Help Desk at (941) 487-4350.

Frequently asked questions about email
Accessing Email from a Web Browser
Open the New College home page, click on the Student Email link. Then open Web Outlook using SSL. You will see the dialog box "connect to mail.ncf.edu" which will be either a 2-tier log-on or a 3-tier log-on.
If you get the 3-tier log on the information is:
Username = firstname.lastname
Password =
Domain = student
If you get the 2-tier log on the information needed is:
Username(domain\username) = student\firstname.lastname
Password=

Email Address: john.hancock@ncf.edu
UserName: john.hancock
Password: ncf1234
Domain: student
Next, you will see a web-based version of Outlook. By default, your Inbox will automatically be opened. Please note that if you hover over various icons, a pop-up description will indicate the function of each button. Also, please note that this is a web page, so most changes will take place after a “refresh” [F5] and/or after clicking the inbox. This is particularly noticeable when you delete items.
After you have checked your email and you are ready to log out, please select LOG OUT at the lower left hand corner of the Outlook Toolbar. Be sure to close all Internet Explorer Windows when you are done, otherwise your email can be accessed through the credentials you supplied earlier in the log on process. You do not need to reboot the machine to achieve a proper "log out."
