Responsibilities: Position provides counseling
services to individuals and groups for the New College of
Florida and USF at Sarasota-Manatee community.
Minimum Qualifications: Must be licensable as a mental
health counselor in the state of Florida or be eligible to
obtain a license in the state of Florida for Psychology within
three years. Master's degree in counseling or clinical
psychology at a college or university accredited by an

The College

Responsibilities: Position assists the Director of
Residence Life and coordinates one of a number of Student Life
Programs.
Serves
as a live-in member of the Residential Life Team, will be
responsible for the management of housing areas consisting of
100-150 students, and provides leadership and on-going
supervision of a student staff of 5-10 Residential Assistants
(RA's).
The
College is committed to the imbrication of the student's
academic and out-of-classroom experience. The Residential

service-oriented person to oversee all public service functions of a
small academic library. This is a non-tenured 12-month faculty
position.
Responsibilities: Plan,
organize, direct, and evaluate all public services functions,
including Reference, Circulation, Interlibrary Loan, Reserves, Stack
Maintenance, Bibliographic Instruction, and Reference Collection
Development. Supervise 3.5 library faculty and 4 support staff.
Participate in the administration of library services, including
planning, program development and evaluation, and the establishment
of library policies and procedures.

degree in library science from an ALA accredited institution; five
years professional academic library experience; extensive

liberal arts college seeks a full-year replacement for 2008-2009.
We are especially interested in applicants whose teaching interests
are in social movements, work organization, and/or Latin American
area studies.
Visiting Assistant Professor will teach two courses per semester
(including one section of Introduction to Sociology), supervise
individualized tutorials, independent study projects (in special
January session), and serve as a member of theses committees.

sociology.

invites applications for a visiting assistant professor of medieval
and/or early modern history for the 2008-9 academic year.
Applications are welcome from specialists in any field of European
history between 400 and 1650 CE. PhD preferred, ABD considered. The
successful candidate will be expected to teach two courses per
semester (one introductory and one advanced) in his or her area of
specialization. New College of Florida, the nationally-recognized
honors college of the State University System of Florida, is a
