MOD 2 LECTURE SCHEDULE

As you can see each Tuesday is devoted to developing a background on film noir, what it is and how we interpret it. Every Wednesday there will be a film scheduled.  Every Friday the class readings and discussions will focus on the film shown.

It is highly recommended that you take careful notes on all the asisgned texts and then post your comment on those issues that you would like discussed. Some of the information is historical and you will simply need to learn it. For example the authors that contributed to noir and what they contributed should be clear in your notes by the second unit. *****Possibly put the web posts in the form of questions.

The FILMOGRAPHY on the Homepage on Film Noir has now been connected to the internet and therefore most of the ADDENDUM films will have these connections. SEE FILMOGRAPHY for them. I have added other materials which I felt useful for the films to be seen in class. I will make additional connections if anyone indicates that they have found a useful site when they were searching the internet.
