Book advances will be available January 28, 2008 until February 13, 2008.

Qualifying for a Book Advance:

You MUST be registered for Spring 2008 classes in order to receive a book advance.

If your Spring 2008 Financial Aid exceeds your tuition, room and board costs, you may qualify for a book advance. All students registered before January 25, 2008, will receive notification in their on-campus mailbox on January 28, 2008. This notification will inform you of the maximum amount available to use toward a book advance. Students who register after January 25, 2008 and qualify for a book advance will be able to use the book advance approximately 48 hours after registering. Those students should contact the Financial Aid Office to discuss their eligibility level.

You MUST also complete a Financial Aid & Title IV Authorization Form to qualify for a book advance. To check if you have an Authorization Form on file click here. If you do not have the Authorization Form on file, complete the form and return it to the Business Office (PMD 123).

How to use a Book Advance:

To use your book advance go directly to the bookstore. Please bring photo identification and your New College ID number. Your NCF ID number/"N" number can be found on your student ID or by clicking here. Your book advance number will be your student ID, the “N” will be replaced with a “0”. The bookstore will charge the cost of your books to your account.

If you believe you qualify for a book advance and you do not receive notification you should call or visit the Financial Aid Office to discuss eligibility.
