Students Kyra Berman-Gestring and Emily Martin will hold a joint thesis exhibition, "Person, Place, Thing," during the week of May 19th. A reception will take place on May 23, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in Isermann Gallery, and artist talks will begin at 7 p.m. They will be accepting donations in support of furthering their artistic pursuits in Europe this July. In Poland, they will be participating in the Art Circle Festival, during which they will build a public sculpture that will be exhibited in the city center until the Fall. In the Czech Republic, they have the opportunity to work as artist assistants to Tomasz Koclęga.

[New Scholars] New College is a celebration of student research and thesis work completed by New College students from all class levels during the past 12 months. Alumni Robert Hans '76 and Tristan Zucker '09 will give the keynote address, "New College Interns: An Investment with High Returns, How a Liberal Arts and Sciences Education Can Transform Business." Hans is the founder and senior managing director of lOS Partners. Zucker interned at IOS Partners for two of his independent study projects and is now an analyst in the Boston office of Cornerstone Research, a litigation consulting firm.
