The Center for Engagement and Opportunity: Explore. Connect. Contribute
Welcome to the CEO, a new office in 2014-15. The CEO brings together career services, internships and national fellowships in a newly renovated, shared space on the first floor of the Jane Bancroft Library. We are excited to kick-off a new year in a fabulous, user-friendly space.
We are committed to the success of our constituents: students, faculty, staff, and employers. We have a new vision and mission, and are creating a relevant and compelling set of services and events to promote student success at New College and after graduation.
Stop by the CEO in its new location or contact us via email or phone.
To create innovative programs and distinctive opportunities to enrich student engagement.
The Center for Engagement and Opportunity will facilitate students’ exploration of their interests, strategic connection of their skills and knowledge, and purposeful contribution to their communities.
The Center for Engagement and Opportunity offers a growing list of resources to allow New College students access to career development resources.
CEO Next is New College’s new program for recent graduates. CEO Next is an intensive six-week summer program. Participants will their assess strengths, gain experience working with a local organization, build a network of professional connections and develop their “soft skills.”
With strong support from employers, Next graduates will be a critical part of the young professional workforce that is in high demand regionally. Even better, Next is free for recent New College grads (housing is available on campus for $30 per day).
