Student Resources

Campus Ministry

The Campus Minister is eager to help all students, faculty and staff to discover every resource that may be helpful in supporting an individual's spiritual journey and enriching the religious lives of all members of the New College community.

Fitness Center

We offer a variety of classes and workshops as well as information sessions on health and nutrition. Our outdoor facilities include a swimming pool, hot tub, basketball and tennis courts, a multi-purpose playing field and softball diamond. Camping, SCUBA and sports equipment available are also for rental. 

Sailing Program

The sailing program maintains a fleet of of eight boats and a small number of kayaks and windsuffers.  We offer classes for beginners. A great way to enjoy the bay!

Gender & Diversity Center

The Gender and Diversity Center (GDC) is a meeting place for student groups to work on social justice issues. The Center is available for studying, impromptu meetings and relaxing! We have a television/VCR, slide projector and a dry erase board, and can comfortably seat up to 25 people.

Counseling & Wellness Center

The Counseling and Wellness Center is available to all currently registered New College and University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee students, providing services related to the development of the whole person; emotional and physical well-being, as well as academic concerns.
