Professor Carrasco offers courses covering a wide range of topics, including the history of landscape painting, the Renaissance in Italy and the North, and the historiography and methodology of art history. A specialist on the Middle Ages, she also teaches courses in all aspects of Medieval architecture, sculpture and painting, from Late Antiquity to the Gothic cathedral. Her research interests center on issues of narrative, gender, and authority in illustrated cycles of the lives of the saints.
