Eugene Lewis is an American political scientist and one of the leading academic authorities on the concept of political entrepreneurship. His research focuses on the role of science and technology in politics and law. He has also published influential works on 'political entrepreneurs' such as Admiral Hyman Rickover. Professor Lewis taught courses in American Constitutional Thought, public
policy, political theory and public administration. He also served as the College's Provost. Additionally, Lewis is an internationally recognized and critically acclaimed sculptor whose work is on display on the New College campus.
