Info Commons

The Info Commons is located on the second floor of the Jane Bancroft Cook Library and is home to the the Educational Technology Services, the Qualitative Resrouce Center and the Writing Resource Center. 

Educational Technology Services

ETS offers equipment, training and project support. ETS staff support a wide variety of software applications. Our department will help clients identify and use the best tools for academic and research-oriented projects.

Quantitative Resource Center

The QRC is dedicated to aiding the New College community in working with quantitative matters.  They provide individual and small group peer tutoring for students needing assistance with various quantitative methods (e.g. basic mathematics and statistics, SAS, SPSS, Excel, and others applications).

Writing Resource Center

The staff at the WRC can help you brainstorm for ideas, form a thesis, and back up your opinion in a paper, adapt material for various audiences, even help you overcome writer’s block.
