BITCH Magazine Editor to Give Two Talks October 3
Debbie Rasmussen, the director and publisher of BITCH magazine, will be on campus this Friday, October 3rd.
She will be giving two talks:

Growing and sustaining social change media in a time of shrinking resourcesA participatory discussion about recent trends and changes in independent media. How do we as independent media makers respond to the constant changes in publishing and invest in the communities we're trying to reach?
6:00 pm in the Gender and Diversity Center
Feminism In/ActionWhat is your feminism for and why does it matter? A participatory discussion about issues of privilege, power, difference, and action/inaction in contemporary feminisms. Can the idea of feminism shift towards a transformative, justice-centered movement for social change, or is it time to evolve to new language?
