Alumni of Environmental Studies

Since the creation of the Environmental Studies program in 1972, 181 students have graduated with an environmental studies area of concentration or another environmental area of concentration. Of this total, 59 graduates have continued on to obtain higher degrees:

 
Nine earning a Ph.D.
     
 
11 earning a Juris Doctorate (J.D.)
     
    39 earning a Masters degree in the areas of:
science
arts
business
social work
public affairs
education
science education
urban planning
public policy
regional planning.

Current professions span the fields of law, science, government, education, agriculture and the non-profit sector. Positions include environmental scientist and consultant, ecologist, biologist, professor, teacher, attorney and organic farmer. Of these, over half reside in Florida working with organizations including:
