The New College of Florida Student Evaluation
System is a web-based information system that is used to store and organize
information pertaining to the student evaluation process. This system is
administered and managed by the Office of the Registrar, and is intended for the use
of New College of Florida students, faculty, and administration. It allows
faculty members to evaluate student performance in their courses. Faculty may also search for and view course
information on their advisees and other students.
Evaluations for Fall 2002 and subsequent terms are available on the
Student Evaluation System and may be viewed or printed by the students. Evaluations for prior terms
may be obtained by the student by submitting a written request
bearing the student's signature to the Office of the Registrar. Use
of the
Evaluation and Record Photocopy Request Form
will ensure all the information needed to process your request is
provided.
Only the student can provide their
evaluations to persons outside New College. Thus, a student can choose to
provide copies of evaluations to prospective employers, graduate admissions
committees, and the like. Evaluations are not
intended as substitutes for grades, are never converted to grades, and are never
attachments to the official transcript.
