Nation's No. 1 Again
Princeton Review ranks New College as top "best value"
among
U.S. public colleges and
universities for second year
(April 24, 2007) –
For the second consecutive year, New College of Florida is the
nation's "best value" among all public colleges and universities in
the Princeton Review's annual publication, America's Best Value
Colleges.
The
2008 edition of the Princeton Review's annual survey of America's
public and private colleges and universities that provide excellent
academics at relatively low cost ranks Rice University in Houston,
Texas, as the No. 1 "best value" among private schools. This year's
book profiles 165 U.S. colleges and universities.

of Florida are honored to be named the nation's No. 1 value in
public higher education by the Princeton Review for the second
consecutive year," said New College President Mike Michalson. "The
impressive list of public and private institutions included among
this year's top 10 lists attests to the superb quality of academics
being offered at an affordable cost by many of our nation's leading
colleges and universities."
This year's edition
marks the third time in four years that New College was top ranked
by the editors of the New York-based
education services company.
