Voting Info for Residential Students

Students who register to vote in this area must use the physical addresses of their residence halls when they register. They may use the campus address with their box numbers as their mailing addresses. If they change to new halls, they need to notify the office of the Supervisor of Elections to update their residential addresses. Students may notify them with a phone call or email or by completing a Florida Voter Registration Application. If you are a registered voter moving to or from Viking, you will need to complete the Florida Voter Registration Application, but you do not need to include the ID and may fax or mail it to the correct office. Listed below are the physical addresses of the halls and contact information for the Supervisors of Elections offices. Students who are not registered voters, may download a copy of the Florida Voter Registration Application at http://srqelections.com/downloads/webappform.pdf
Do not give an address to the Supervisor of Elections office that is not your legal residence. To do so is a 3rd degree FELONY! It is punishable by up to 5 years in jail and/or up to a $5,000 fine. Whatever you give them as your address: it must be your legal residence (not mailing address, unless they are the same). Do not claim to be in a specific Residence Hall unless you are officially assigned to that room.
