Florida Linkage Exchange Programs

What are Linkage Institutes? The State of Florida has established Linkage Institutes to aid in creating stronger ties with certain countries.  These institutes coordinate a limited number of temporary tuition reduction scholarships.  You do not need to attend the institution where the Linkage Institute office is located.

Am I eligible to apply?

In order to be eligible to apply for one of these programs, you must already be admitted and planning to attend (or already be registered at) a Florida public institution of higher education.  You must also be a citizen of one of the countries for which Florida Linkage Institutes are established. Students are required to return home after their graduate or undergraduate study for a length of time equal to their exemption period.

Whom should I contact?

To apply for an out-of-state fee exemption, contact the Linkage Institute director for the country in which you reside. You will still be required to prove your ability to cover all of your education and living expenses, but your tuition will be temporarily reduced should you earn a Linkage Institution scholarship.
